George concentrates his practice in the defense and trial of products liability, asbestos and toxic tort litigation, drug and medical devices, construction accidents and commercial claims. In 2023, George was once again designated as one of the premier Products Liability Defense Attorneys in the world by The International Who’s Who of Product Liability Defense Lawyers, which considers defense counsel from more than 40 international venues in making its limited selections. George has received the “AV” Martindale-Hubbell rating for many years, the most prestigious rating that can be awarded. He has served as Lead Defense Counsel in multiple jurisdictions throughout the United States both as National and Local counsel. George is Past President of the International Association of Defense Counsel (2004-2005) and served on the IADC Board of Directors from 2000 to 2006. In April 2013 George was Dean of the Corporate Counsel College of the IADC. This was an interactive session for approximately 150 General Counsel and Insurance Executives. Justice Sandra Day O’Connor accepted George’s invitation and served as Keynote Speaker. George has also served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Defense Research Institute (DRI) and Lawyers for Civil Justice (LCJ). In April 2016 George was awarded the 1st Annual Dean's Award for extraordinary contribution to the IADC Corporate Membership. George served as a Captain in the United States Army.
